The length of time it takes to train a dog depends on a variety of factors, including the dog's age, breed, temperament, and the type of training needed. dogs can learn a new trick in a matter of minutes but changing a behavior can take anywhere from 3 weeks to a year depending on the severity and your dedication. Your expectations will ultimately determine the length of your training plan.
Dogs are incredibly intelligent from a very young age. Reputable breeders will have already started training before your pup even got to go home! Their big personalities are starting to shine and they pick up on this quite quickly! I recommend giving the puppy at least a week to decompress before your first foundations class. First round of shots required.
